Hamilton wins British Grand Prix

Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton won Sunday’s Rolex British Grand Prix, making it the sixth time in his racing career he has taken the checkered flag at Silverstone. “Today was one of the best days I can remember,” Hamilton said. National Women’s Hall of Fame will induct Angela Davis

Angela Davis is scheduled to be inducted into The National  Women’s Hall of Fame on its 100th anniversary in September in New York City. Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Gibson is suffering from pancreatic cancer

Bob Gibson, the Hall of Fame St. Louis Cardinals pitcher, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he wrote in a message to living Hall of Famers. Gibson, who will be 84 in November, said he has been diagnosed at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and will undergo chemotherapy in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska.  Physicians have hospitalized Gibson for the[Read More…]
