Fire damages home of the widow of a NASA astronaut

A fire damaged the Texas home owned by Cheryl McNair, widow of NASA astronaut Ronald McNair, but firefighters were able to save McNair’s space-flight memorabilia. Mozambique reports 139 cases of cholera in the wake of cyclone Idai

Mozambique officials have confirmed 139 cases of cholera, a deadly infection of the small intestine if left untreated. The cholera epidemic resulted from Cyclone Idai, which has killed at least 468 people in Mozambique, eastern Zimbabwe, and Malawi, government officials have reported. Emergency visits for seniors abusing opiods have increased
