Deadly police shootings

Police killings challenge the mental health of black Americans

By Frederick H. Lowe

Police killings of unarmed African Americans have a deep psychological effect on the entire black community, causing many who weren’t in the line of fire to feel psychically wounded, according to a study published by The Lancet, a weekly peer-reviewed general medical journal.

Police killings of unarmed black Americans add 1 to 7 additional poor-mental health days per person per year or 55 million excess poor mental-health days among black Americans, resulting in their suffering from depression and post-traumatic stress disorder, according to the report titled, “Police killings and their spillover effects on the mental health of black Americans: a population-based, quasi-experimental study.”

The report focused on the number of days in which the person questioned said his mental health suffered noticeably after learning of deadly police shooting of an unarmed black person in their city or state. Police kill more than 300 blacks each year and at least a quarter of them, or 75, are unarmed.

The list of unarmed black men killed by police is long and continues to grow. These victims include Oscar Grant, Eric Garner, Walter Scott, Freddie Gray and Stephon Clark. Most recently, Antwon Rose, Jr., 17, was killed when Michael Rosfeld, an East Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, police officer, shot him three times in the back as he ran from a traffic stop.

In 2017, 25 percent of the people killed by police were black although blacks comprise only 13 percent of the nation’s population. Some were armed and some were not. There were only 17 days in 2017 when the police did not kill someone.

Following the police murder of Michael Brown, which set off days of civil unrest and demonstrations in Ferguson, Missouri, where the shooting occurred, researchers said blacks reported suffering from high rates of depression.

Dorian Johnson was walking with Brown when the teenager was shot to death by Darren Wilson, a police officer. Johnson said he suffered from depression following the shooting.

The study did not address how deadly police shooting in other parts of the country affected blacks who read about them in the newspapers, hear about them on the radio, watched television news reports or read news stories about the deadly shooting online.

The study also did not report how deadly shootings affected blacks when police are assigned to desk duty but are later are acquitted of all the charges related to the killings.

The website Mapping Police Violence reported that in 2015  99 percent of cases have not resulted in involved officers being convicted of a crime.

  1. White people lack empathy for black people, black voices, black pain, and they are loath to listen even to a sociological and analytical reasoning of the perspectives of black people and their internalized interpretation of the raw agony of white people’s history toward blacks.

Until we dismantle white supremacy…then racism will continue to be white supremacy’s bodyguard….after all, how could white superiority sustain itself if it wasn’t for racism……..

Yes, if it weren’t for racism the structural racism…the systemic racism would collapse upon itself… is racism that sustains white supremacy…but white people think white supremacy is a myth while black people all over the world live with the ominous imposing psychological messages of white supremacy all day every day..

Distinctively exclusive to the Western civilization “Occidentals” furthered white supremacy as a belief that their racial superiority over the rest of humanity as a matter of fact.

As an economic and political system, the private control of production and consumption cannot be ignored as reasons why White people lack empathy for black people.

White people lack empathy for black people

Secularism is the materialistic ideology that facilitates capitalism by removing “God Consciousness” which permits white civilization to ignore the humanity of non-whites, to distance themselves from having empathy, and to participate in immortalizing institutional racism.

In fact, they have more empathy for animals than they do for non-whites……it permeates in all mediums of communication which is a proof of institutional racism.

In the 1800’s the Protestant Christians, Biblical hermeneutics was now fortified with the King James Version of the Bible that would be used almost exclusively to justify the enslavement of the Africans and ultimately force the African enslaved into Christianity.

The dramatic irony in this story about the Eurocentric ethnic racism of the 18th-century is the unveiling of the nature of white supremacy. This illustrates how consistently western civilization is against all African people. The unfortunate reality is that the ideology comes from the recycled psychological “blind faith” and acceptance of the “Trinity” doctrine.

White Supremacy / Racism Wasn’t Accidental It is An Organized and Planned Human Management Infrastructure

The hatred of the Africans humanity solidified corresponding with the growth and development of European literacy directly in step with the publishing and distribution of the King James Version of the Bible. the Bible authorized and codified the inhumanity, the laws and governance all were sanctioned by the ideas codified in the western civilizations belief in idolatry. Hence racism became fortified with and by the advent of the Christian idols and icons in churches and buildings, and reverencing crosses and images as a symbol of Christian identity is acceptable for the majority who profess Christ

White Divinity or White Supremacy is Keeping America Divided, by Kevin M. Ali

The entire western civilization, not just America, but all of the colonized indoctrinated peoples of the earth perpetuate the same racism based on consumption and driven by the primary product the ideology of white supremacy.

What exactly is the meaning of white supremacy regarding historiography, scientific revolution, paradigms, poststructuralism, postmodernism, psychoanalysis, and deconstruction?

Why is it the case that white society refuses to question white supremacy through criticism and response to racisms position in the postmodernism (marketing, management, organizational design, corporate values) or deconstruct the individualist or collectivist organizational behavior in context with white supremacy?

    1. The first reason America is divided: Is due to “White Divinity.” White Divinity is the number one reason blacks and white are divided in America.

In the global media, especially the cumulative results of the marketing and commoditization campaigns, all which are teaching instruments, these teaching institutions (including the formal learning structures) today, they try to make it seems as though the problem with racism is emotional, or stems from ignorance, and has to do with the lower class poor ignorant whites, or Is personal.

While the aristocrats that set up social order, and rely upon racism for commerce and business ( trans-Atlantic Slavery) in the first place, they built in what is known in business and the church as the “evergreen clause.” In the church it is called “everlasting life,” and it comes back to life in many forms but in the late 18th century appeared as the Jim Crow provision.

To (or “intending to”) destroy racism and unite humanity America must take down white divinity and stop the false worship of a visibly whitened God. Many black Americans have been given the wrong ideas about God and religion because they have been made to look for the God that they can see with their physical eyes, the white man.

America is divided because White divinity confuses the conclusions both whites and black make on this subject. The Negro’s /Colored, blacks, African Americans are people indoctrinated into believing in “white supremacy, ” and as a people, black life has not sustained any period whereby black life thrived in such a way to be able to erect socio-cultural barriers to outside influences.

The effects upon non-white life have not yet been contemplated out loud by white society, to the extent W. E. B Du Boise made the exertion in his sociological research “The Souls of Black Folks” sought to understand sociologically.

To the extent that non-whites historically have been plagued with a legacy of enduring injury. Instead of an empty symbolic apology, white society needs to reject all of its premises and start from scratch because there are just way too many contradictions and hypocrisies inherent to western civilizations concept of human development.

    2. The second reason is that whites lack empathy for black people and do not accept their humanity- historically, culturally, and institutionally- not personally.

The fact that whites lack empathy and do not take the humanity of the darker skinned peoples under any circumstance as being equal to their status as humans. This means that the conditions supported by an apparatus of structural racism sustaining white supremacy.

Capitalism is the control system, perpetuating and promoting white power in such a way that upholds the socio-economic caste system with race-based nuance. The nuances relate to western philosophies such as what is meant by utilitarianism, capitalism, racism, colonialism. Utilitarianism is a theory in normative ethics holding that the best moral action is the one that maximizes utility. Hence, the non-ethic white is only invited to participate in capitalism as individuals, but never to benefit while communities of peoples such as colonized peoples.

Autonomous, equal participation in capitalism distributed globally would empower African and non-whites, which would mean freedom. The western civilization while expressing democracy, disguises all western ideology in mythologies designed to maintain the original myth white supremacy, all derivatives are poisoned with the racist original ideology white supremacy.

To dispense with racism, means the end of white power, which means non-white majority would manage their own natural resources, but, then that would end the hegemony of white supremacy….now disguised as nationalistic geopolitical interest…….hence foreign policy is designed to sustain white supremacy.

Utility is defined in various ways but is usually related to the well-being of sentient entities

The Utilitarian social order reigns supreme because it has convinced the people they have a fair and just chance at capitalism. With a chance at capitalism, whites have done immorality in Jesus name, and have made God a man in a booth, that forgives and absolves the sins of man, at weekly meetings in secret. The man-god on earth invented the corporation and launched the institution of slavery based on race, done in the Papal Bulls, instructing white Christians to enslave the Africans in perpetuity.

White Divinity or White Supremacy is not just hyperbole, it is systems management, globalization, racism, racism, collectivism, religion, philosophy, capitalism, competitive advantage, it is democracy, communism, and expansionism

In the western lexicon, hyperbole is derived from a Greek word meaning “over-casting,” is a figure of speech that involves an exaggeration of ideas for the sake of emphasis. It is a device that we employ in our day-to-day speech.

The system of white supremacy is so pervasive, to the extent that the American School system refuses to teach openly upon the subject of abolitionist movement. Maybe it is perchance because of the white man’s fear, of that knowledge which will inevitably result in exposing the counter arguments of the ethnic white Christian abolitionist. Within their arguments there may be a corrosive effect having the undesired positive effect on destroying white supremacy racism……

The people interested in understanding white supremacy racism have to dig deep under the surface to find the examples of voices coming from the right minded ethnic white humans of the 18th century.

    For example:

George William Curtis (24 February 1824 – 31 August 1892) was an American writer and public speaker. A Republican, Curtis supported the abolition of slavery and spoke in favor of the rights of freed slaves.

George William Curtis, as quoted in “The Present Aspect of the Slavery Question” (18 October 1859), New York City.

As to the doctrine of slavery and the right of Christians to hold Africans in perpetual servitude, and sell and treat them as we do our horses and cattle, that, it is true, has been heretofore countenanced by the Province Laws formerly, but nowhere is it expressly enacted or established. It has been a usage–a usage which took its origin from the practice of some of the European nations, and the regulations of British government respecting the then-colonies, for the benefit of trade and wealth. But whatever sentiments have formerly prevailed in this particular or slid in upon us by the example of others, a different idea has taken place with the people of America, more favorable to the natural rights of mankind, and to that natural, innate desire of liberty, with which Heaven, without regard to color, complexion, or shape of noses-features, has inspired all the human race. And upon this ground our constitution of government, by which the people of this Commonwealth have solemnly bound themselves, sets out with declaring that all men are born free and equal, and that every subject is entitled to liberty, and to have it guarded by the laws, as well as life and property–and in short is totally repugnant to the idea of being born slaves. This being the case, I think the idea of slavery is inconsistent with our own conduct and constitution; and there can be no such thing as perpetual servitude of a rational creature, unless his liberty is forfeited by some criminal conduct or given up by personal consent or contract.

“Sociopaths have lifelong patterns of deceitfulness for personal gain. They lack remorse and empathy and are wizards at rationalizing away how they hurt and mistreat others.”
