The United States Postal Service has unveiled a Forever Stamp honoring the late PBS journalist Gwen Ifill who died of cancer at the age of 61 in 2016.

Ifill’s stamp will be part of the postal service’s Black Heritage series, which will be issued in 2020. Throughout her career, Ifill moderated vice-presidential debates and worked for 17 years as moderator on the PBS NewsHour. She also was managing editor of “Washington Week.”

A 2008 photo of Ifill taken by Robert Severi is scheduled to appear on the Forever Stamp.
