Trevor Noah Signs Off, But It’s Not Clear When He Will Leave

Trevor Noah signs off, but it’s not clear when he will leave Trevor Noah recently announced that he is stepping down from the Daily Show, which he took over when Jon Stewart left in 2015. He was an unknown comedian from South Africa when he took over the show seven years ago, and he made it into big hit with his scathing political analysis, guest interviews, and repartee with cohosts like comedian Roy Wood Jr. Noah did not say when he would leave. “It’s been amazing. It is something that I never expected. I found myself thinking throughout the time of everything we’ve gone through. The Trump presidency, the pandemic, and just the journey, more pandemic, and I realized that after seven years, my time is up,†he said. In separate interviews, Noah cited the grueling schedule associated with appearing every weeknight as part of the reason he decided to step down.
