Police arrest 18-year for Morgan State University shooting as they search for a second perpetrator

Police have arrested  Jovan Williams, 18, for shooting 5 people at Morgan State University in Baltimore.

Investigators now say Williams and a 17-year-old cohort opened fire on the University’s campus on October 3 outside Thurgood Marshall Hall.

Police charged Williams with attempted murder during last week’s shooting at Morgan State University that left five wounded. A second teen is being sought in connection with the shooting.

The injured, four men and one woman, ranged in age from 18 to 22 were hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Two were also shot at Bowie State during homecoming weekend, days after the Morgan State shooting. Bowie State is based in Baltimore.
